I have two contests this weekend. Logan made the Roster for his Middle School and Lucas made the roster as the only Freshman to do so at his High School.

Having returned from a long week in Texas with lots of work stuff I come home to my dream of having my kids into surfing. I might have over reached.

Saturday and Sunday the heats start at 7am and I could be there till 4.

But, who is kidding who? I am excited, nervous, proud and ready to keep my inner stage mom at bay while watching/living vicariously through my kids.

Shark at Sunset (the crappy LA Sunset)

Maybe the shark was just pissed off at all the SUP's out at this break. We went there towards the end of summer and surfed Malibu. We noticed that there were about 7 Stand Up Paddle guys out at the end of Sunset Blvd.

Evidently the sharks are not happy with Kayak people either.
